Where We Began

Founded in 2003 by builder and developer Rick Simmons, Integrated Real Estate Group initially focused on developing and operating affordable and market-rate multifamily housing with an emphasis on outstanding quality and design. Simmons’ commitment to vertical integration—combining property management services with planning, development, and construction—allowed the company to efficiently and effectively control projects from conception through completion and into ongoing operation. This approach laid the foundation for the exceptional communities we build today.

Recognizing a significant need in the senior living sector, Rick Simmons expanded the company's vision in 2011 by forming Integrated Senior Lifestyles. This division specifically addresses the diverse needs of the senior population by developing Active Adult, Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care communities. Our senior living communities range from sustainable housing for active seniors to high-end, luxury communities, all designed to provide safe, comfortable, and engaging environments where seniors can thrive.
